Stop Abortion

This is a report from a mother and grandmother at our church. On Wednesdays our church has a abortion ministry at near by abortion clinic. We will hold signs to inform people that "babies are murdered here". Our church is going through a lot a persecution right now. A man, Daniel is protesting against the pro - lifers. He swears and uses horrible language to children, men and women of the church. If you want to learn more visit this site  http://charlesfromchurch.tumblr.com/.

Here’s a report from the front.
We arrived a few minutes late today to find Daniel marching backand
forth chanting in a sing-song: “St. Peter’s is a cult, is a cult,"
then shouting “Go F—- yourself."
We gathered together and prayed, being screamed and mocked at the
whole time. We took our signs, spread out on both sides of the
highway (about 20 of us) and Grace and I took Charles’ suggestion to
begin singing.
We are commanded to sing. Did you know obedience to God’s commands is
delightful, not to mention effective?
The doxology
The gloria patri
Amazing Grace
Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
Rejoice the Lord is King
What Wondrous Love is This
O Sacred Head Now Wounded
Holy, Holy, Holy
The Steadfast Love of the Lord Never Ceases
I will Sing Unto the Lord
Be Thou My Vision
The Son of God Goes Forth to War
Psalm 121
Here are some of the results:
1. We immediately knew we were worshiping the one true God and
praying simultaneously.
2. We felt encouraged and joyful.
3. Daniel had to turn his music off.
4. Daniel quit marching and hurling foul and hateful words at our end
of the line.
5. It made us smile and kept our young children from hearing his rantings.
6. We were rehearsing our theology, reminded of the scriptures, and
recommitting ourselves to fighting for the lives of the unborn.
7. We felt the love of God surrounding us and were filled with
compassion for these hopelessly lost, blind, and hate-filled souls.
The police came twice. Did you know they (the prochoice group, of
which there were 5 or 6 today) have the right to be there as much as
we do? Of course you do, but they (as we engaged in a brief exchange
at the very end) don’t believe we have a right to speak for and defend
the unborn.
By the way, he doesn’t believe in predestination ("what’s the point?"
nor believe Jesus abuse women.
At one point, Daniel tried coming down with his girl Friday to our end
again and finally said, “I can’t take this," and left us alone again.
Toward the beginning he demanded who we were coming for, under whose
auspices, who tells you to come here? - To which I said, “Jesus
Christ." He then let loose a slew of blasphemies against the Lord.
Did you know we are brain-washed, ignorant, uneducated, foolish, -
and, did you know that God commanded babies to be killed? At one
point our voices were giving out and Grace opened to Ephesians 5 and
began reading. Daniel pulled up NASB (saw her translation) on his
phone and began reading from Exodus. “Ha," he said, “All the
firstborn of Egypt were killed!" and I said, “And the firstborn of
Israel were spared," to which he said, “F—- Israel." His vocabulary
is very limited. Grace kept reading from Psalm 139. He kept trying
to read over her from Hosea, Psalm 137 (he knows a lot of scriptures,
accepted Christ as “my personal Lord and Savior when I was eight") and
so I started praying over him, that the Lord would bless him in mercy
and give him a heart of flesh instead of stone, obedience for
disobedience, love for hate, shed light into his life, cause the
scales to fall from his eyes, cause him to see that he was made in the
image of God for life and not death, to be merciful and give him the
gift of faith to believe. I told him that no matter what horrible
things happened to him in Iraq, he could turn to God and find grace
and mercy.
By the time we left there were probably 30 there. We had a brief
exchange with the girl, who attended Cedarville University and doesn’t
believe in God. She said “they are not babies, it is nonviable
tissue. - Do you know what that means, a big word like “viable?" she
asked. I said yes, and without God none of us are viable, that
without the gift of God she couldn’t breathe without his allowing it.
To that she rolled her eyes to the heavens and said, “That is
hilarious. I don’t believe in God." I said it didn’t matter if she
believed in God, she didn’t have to believe in fire either, but it
would still burn her. I asked her if she was glad to be alive. She
said she was glad her mother had a choice.
I said I was glad my mother hadn’t. She said she wanted us to stop
assaulting people and that she was there to speak for the women who
have the right to abortion. I said we were there for the unborn who
have a right to live. She said we didn’t have the right to do that.
I asked her why she knew it was wrong for us to believe a certain way,
but we couldn’t believe it was wrong to murder. Etc. By the way, she
has a master’s degree in post constructivism. It would take her hours
to explain. Bryan said he had all day.
But we didn’t and had to leave.
We are a threat to them. We saw no one coming or going as they were
all driving to the back. Daniel said they kill six babies a day.
That means 120 since we have been going there to try to intervene.
So we will continue with our songs of deliverance.
To God be the glory,
Liz
