On Friday we gave Pops our presents. He received a big, Stihl chainsaw, a half dozen of Amish made doughnuts, and leather supplies for his holsters he makes!
He was very pleased with his gifts!
I wrote this several years ago for my Pops birthday.
MY DADDY!
There is a man, who is Big and Strong,
Can you guess who it is?
There is man, who is tall and long,
Can you guess who it is?
There is man, who gives me hugs,
Can you guess who it is?
There is man, who gives me Kisses,
Can guess who it is?
There is a man, who is hard working,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who is all was willing,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who tucks me in every night,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who protects me with all his might,
Can you guess who it is?
There is man, who is very funny,
Can you guess who it is?
There is man, who loves his darling honey,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, saves children from despair,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who all was shields us from the
Cold air,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who would give his life for me,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who teaches me the truth,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who preaches the truth,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who can fix almost anything,
Can you guess who it is?
There is a man, who seems to know everything,
Can you guess who it is?
I, would give my live for this man,
Have guessed who it is?
I, would willingly do anything for this man,
Have you guessed who it is?
I will hug this man,
Have you guessed who it is?
I will kiss this man,
Have you guessed who it is?
I will take care of him as an old man,
Have you guessed who it is?
This man is worth more than Gold,
Do you know who it is?
This man is worth more than anything told,
Do you know who it is?
This man is worth more than Silver,
Do you know who it is?
To put a price this man will be never,
Do you know who it is?
He’s a preacher, a hard worker, He’s a husband, and He’s a protector,
But most importantly to me he is my daddy!
